There are many opportunities for delivering aspects of the OCR A (21st Century) GCSE Science subject content and the associated How Science Works skills strand through fieldwork in London.
The OCR B (Gateway Science) GCSE Science specification offers the most opportunities from all the present examination boards in science for outdoor work. Field sampling skills is one of the subject knowledge areas needing to be explicitly covered. Many of the How Science Works skills can be simply and effectively taught through fieldwork in London.
