Advanced Higher Biology - Small Groups

Do you want to give your students the benefit of residential biology fieldwork but you haven’t the number of students to make it viable organise your own residential or send a member of staff?

FSC Kindrogan is pleased to offer you the opportunity to join other Scottish schools in the autumn term on a 3 day Advanced Higher course that will cover investigations which are essential for their biology Advanced Higher.  Not only will your students be able to join others on a stimulating course but at £113 it is a very cost effective way of delivering a key part of their curriculum.

Course Details

Environmental Biology – Three Days

This three day course is designed to meet the needs of the Environmental Biology module, and will cover many of the fieldwork techniques that students will need to master for their examination.

  • Biological sampling methods
  • Data collection using a range of fieldwork techniques
  • Analysis and presentation of data
  • Investigations into soils, hydroseral succession, freshwater pollution, exotic species and conservation
