Environmental issues don’t respect subject boundaries, therefore the FSC offer ‘interdisciplinary’ courses that combine subject areas. Some also include adventure and conservation activities to provide a fun learning environment to help develop understanding.
| Key Stage 1 and 2 | Key Stage 3 | Key Stage 4 |
As well as covering specific elements of the curriculum all programmes place a strong emphasis on developing personal confidence and team-building skills and motivation.
Programme choices include a mix of:
- Geography and Science
- Geography and History
- Geography, Environment and Conservation
- Eco Adventure - Geography, Science and Outdoor Adventure
Our national network of day and residential Centres, open all year round with full-time teaching staff, gives us the ability to work with you to meet your needs. Our cross-curricular courses and programmes are available from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4. Therefore, they offer the opportunity to build skills, knowledge and understanding in a progressive programme of fieldwork, using a variety of experiences at different ages in contrasting environments across the network of FSC day and residential Centres.
