Centrally heated rooms allow the Centre to be used the year round; rooms are either twin beds or small bunk-type accommodation, all with sea view.	Well equipped labs and work rooms accommodate up to 60 students and have ICT facilities including several networks and multimedia projection. ICT facilities are freely available for students to use for writing up, data analysis and to search for help. A wide variety of programmes are available.
Field sites are close to the centre so that there is a minimum of travel. Students can spend longer working on their data in the work rooms. This group is in the library during their project day.
